Sometimes, when you’re deep down in dumps,
Nothing makes sense and there is no triumph;
Everyone will tell you, it’s stupid and dumb,
All you have to do is just let go and move on!

No one will really listen, no one will really understand,
Everyone will have their own opinion and lessons to be learnt!
You’re overthinking, you’re just being a scum;
You’re hurting others just by being the person you’ve become!

You start putting on a mask, you start acting plump,
Oh hey, to fit in the crowd, you’re putting efforts;
You’re putting yourself down, your own biggest critic you’ve become,
Add that to the list of things that you really need to dump!

Everyone will have their opinion, everyone will have their solution;
You try to change yourself to match their rhythm;
But deep down you’re still the same, you still need to turn;
One by one you chip yourself until you’re life is no fun!

You try to fit in, searching for the answers,
When deep down you know, people themselves are messed up lumps;
Yet, you keep putting yourself down, your own biggest critic you become,
Adding that to the list of things that you really need to dump!
