In the midst of the work,
Something suddenly reminds me of you;
I pause a moment and smile,
Yeah, I do miss you!

I miss the long conversations,
The midnight “I can’t sleep” talks;
Me talking all nonsense,
And you putting up with it all!

Your thoughtful gestures,
And the caring thoughts;
The diversions you created,
Just to make me forget it all.

You were right, life does not stop,
And I am sure you too have moved on;
But somewhere deep down my friend,
You’ll stay, You’ll never be gone!

Someday, I wish, I’ll get a call,
Hey it’s me! and that’d be all;
We’ll go back to the friends we were,
And that’ll be a start for another fall!
